    The resource for environmentally responsible building development is a free, Web-based resource to help companies of all sizes and sectors understand and address building design, construction, and operation in a way that aligns environmental responsibility with business success.

    This site serves as a forum and ratings site where individuals can share their thoughts an ask questions about a variety of green products, services, and related topics. The intent is to give consumers confidence to make better design and purchasing decisions and in conclusion “Buy Green Confidently”.

    Over 1,000 green building products listed by CSI category. Searches available for a specific product manufacturer or by geography. The site also includes articles on the use of green products.

    The Whole Building Design Guide is the only web-based portal providing government and industry practitioners with one-stop access to up-to-date information on a wide range of building-related guidance, criteria and technology from a 'whole buildings' perspective. Currently organized into three major categories—Design Guidance, Project Management and Operations & Maintenance—at the heart of the WBDG are Resource Pages, reductive summaries on particular topics.

    This site features products, tools and information to make office greening easy and costs effective. The online retailer features 38,000 products, all labeled and ranked by greenness.

    The Lean and Green Research Initiative website. The Lean and Green Research Initiative conducts research and education to improve the delivery of high performance buildings through the development of resource efficient (lean) processes that maximize value at minimal delivery cost.

    BuidlingGreen, Inc. is an independent company committed to providing accurate, unbiased, and timely information designed to help building-industry professionals and policy makers improve the environmental performance, and reduce the adverse impacts, of buildings. They offer both print and electronic resources to help you design and build construction projects from a whole-systems perspective and take an integrated design approach that minimizes ecological impact and maximizes economic performance.

    The Resume Development Organization website. Their goal is to promote reuse as an environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economical means for managing surplus and discarded materials.

    Building Materials Reuse Association's (BMRA) website. The BMRA is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to facilitate building deconstruction and the reuse/recycling of recovered building materials.

    GreenBiz is an information resource on how to align environmental responsibility with business success.

    This site could be known as “Everything that is Green”. Treehugger tackles everything from how to dress green to how to travel green and everything in between. Treehugger’s slogan is “The Future is Green. Find it Here.” With Google searching capabilities and loads of information, that is definitely the truth of this site.

    The International EcoTourism Society (TIES) sponsors this site which is dedicated to promoting responsible travel that unites conservation and communities. TIES is a global network of industry practitioners, institutions and individuals helping to integrate environmental and socially responsible principles into practice.
